Bun B stopped by HOT 97 to talk to Nessa about his upcoming album Way Mo Trill, out November 7th. He opened up about working with Monaleo and LaRussell and how special they both are. Bun also brought the producer Cory Mo and they also discussed the legacy of UGK, including stories about Pimp C and how Bun kept going when Pimp was incarcerated. He also told stories on he and Pimp C met D’Angelo in studio and how they chose International Players Anthem.
He reflected on the 20-year anniversary of his classic solo debut Trill and how his definition of success, legacy, and “Trill” itself has evolved.
