After nearly two years behind bars, rapper Blueface is a free man, and he’s already making headlines again.
The Los Angeles rapper, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, took to Instagram on Sunday (Nov. 3) to address fans for the first time since his release from prison. During an Instagram Live session, Blueface gave followers a brief tour of his home and shared that he plans to make his page private soon, signaling a shift in how he’ll connect with the public moving forward.
“Blueface home” he said in a short video shared via Instagram. adding clips of emotional reunions with his children and mother. The moment marked the first time his family had been seen together publicly since his incarceration.
Blueface’s release follows a four-year prison sentence handed down in August 2024 for violating his probation. The violation stemmed from a 2021 incident in Las Vegas involving the assault of a nightclub bouncer. His legal troubles have shadowed much of his career in recent years, but family members hinted at his release in late October, suggesting that “a chapter” was closing for the Porter family.
