Issa Rae will be coming to a city near you. The Insecure creator has announced dates to promote her new book,  I Should Be Smarter Now.  The tour kicks off Sept. 8 in Philadelphia, with stops in Washington, D.C., and Dallas before closing Sept. 24 in Detroit.  The new collection of essays is the  follow-up to her 2015 bestseller The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl. According to the synopsis, I Should Be Smarter Now is a“fearlessly authentic essay about the entertainment industry—the setbacks, high-stakes risks, and hard-won successes—by Issa Rae, named one of Time magazine’s most influential people in the world. “It’s a gamble to bet on yourself in Hollywood. Rag legends Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan and Havoc of Mobb Deep have announced a co-headlining tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of two of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time—Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… and Mobb Deep’s The Infamous. During each set of the show, Raekwon and Havoc will perform all their hits together for the very first time. Cam’ron is bringing the vibes to your TV screen. His talk show “Talk with Flee!” will make its debut on REVOLT TV on Wednesday, August 12 at 10 PM. RZA already has a name in mind for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s next child, ,  Speaking with PEOPLE at the premiere of Nobody 2 on Monday, Aug. 11, the Wu-Tang Clan leader had a suggestion for the power couple. “You know what? OBD, because you know the legend must live on,” RZA joked. Previously, RZA told CNN in 2023 that it was a “great honor” that Rihanna and Rocky chose his name for their child. “[It’s] a great honor to know that there’s another generation that’s not even of my own household that feels the strength and the inspiration of that name,” RZA told the outlet. “RZA isn’t only a name, it’s a title,” he went on. “So it’s an honor, and I salute her and A$AP and their family. All the blessings in the world from me.” As for Rihana and Rocky, they are looking forward to expanding their family, according to a source close to the situation. “Rihanna and Rocky couldn’t be more thrilled to be growing their family again with baby number three,” the source told PEOPLE. “They’ve really embraced this chapter, and their bond has only deepened since becoming parents.” Rocky “has been incredibly attentive and nurturing throughout this pregnancy,” said the source. While they may not have a name yet, it will definitely begin with the letter R. “It’s always going to be an R name. That’s the one thing me and Rocky don’t fight over,” Rihanna told Entertainment Tonight. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have two sons. Their first son, RZA, was born in May 2022, and their second son, Riot, was born in August 2023.

Latto is starting the year with a confident outlook on both music and relationships, offering advice that reflects her own journey. With her single “Somebody” out and a new album in the works, she recently spoke with Billboard about love, attraction, and the value of keeping certain things to yourself. For her, finding the right partner began with focusing inward. “I think I stumbled upon my person by just investing in and building myself up. Evil eyes are real, people will hate and wish bad on you. I’d rather have people out my business,” she shared. To her, the strongest relationships are built on a united front, with both partners focused on each other instead of outside noise. Benzino is stepping into a new era, using his fitness progress as the centerpiece of his public image. The Boston native, now 60, has updated his OnlyFans platform to highlight his dedication to the gym. Originally launched in 2020, the account will now showcase the transformation he has worked hard to achieve, and he wants fans to start calling him “King Zeno.” Recently, he explained his motivation during an Instagram post, telling followers, “The only reason I got OnlyFans is because I work out, so I like to show my body.” He says his training schedule has him in the gym five days a week and believes his audience will enjoy the results as much as he does. Eminem is opening up about his 17-year sobriety journey During a recent interview with PEOPLE, Eminem experienced a near-fatal overdose in 2007, which caused him to  radically change his life. In his new documentary STANS, he reveals the steps he took to save his life. “After the overdose, I came home going, ‘Yo, bro, I need something… I’m going to die if I don’t do something,” Em said. He went on to describe he was coming off a  “vicious cycle” of feeling “depressed” and needing “more pills “ and woke up one day in the hospital. “I didn’t know what the f— happened. It seemed like I fell asleep, and I woke up with tubes in me and s—. I wanted to get up. I couldn’t move,” he said. Following overdose, made his 2009 album Relapse and began the recovery process. You’ve gotta do something different,’” Em said after the lukewarm response the the LP. “Why don’t you try embracing sobriety?” He continues, “I realized I’m not embarrassed anymore about it, and I started treating sobriety like a superpower. I was proud of the fact that I could quit.” In STANS, which takes his name after his classic song from 2000, viewers will witness the “complicated relationship between one of the world’s most private artists and his massive public persona,” according to the synopsis of the doc. “Through stylized recreations, rare archival footage, intimate interviews, and an exclusive original interview with Eminem himself, it offers a raw, loud, and revealing journey across his career — and the passionate audience that has grown with him,” it continues. STANS will be available to stream internationally on Paramount+ later this year.

SZA is showing her gratitude to Kendrick Lamar for bringing her on the record-breaking Grand National Tour. Taking to Instagram, SZA thanked K-Dot for allowing her to take the stage with him in some of the biggest venues in the world. “This tour was the craziest, most once-in-a-lifetime experience I’ve ever had. No one cares that I’m here. Why would I go?’” “Same thing with the Kendrick tour. Everybody’s going to see Kendrick. I don’t even know if I have anything to show these people that’s exciting and new,” she added. “Now it’s just like, ‘F**k it. I don’t have anything else to do, and I want to see where this door is going to lead.’ I want to walk through the door. I want to see what happens in the uncertainty,” continued.

Chance the Rapper is set to release his highly anticipated sophomore album, Star Line, and tour. Due to drop on August 15, the project will be his first since his divorce was finalized from Kirsten Corley. In a recent interview with CBS Mornings, Chance spoke about co-parenting in this new phase of his life. “She’s good. Hey Kirsten! And hey, Kensli and Marli. You know, family is one of the biggest things for me, for her, for my kids, for my mom and dad,” Chance said. “So I think the most important thing for anybody that’s having to navigate that is making sure you keep an environment for the kids where they understand that’s the priority.” He also described his song “Space and Time” as one of his most “well-written” songs that he wrote after he and Corley split. “I think it’s a very personal song about, you know, what we were just talking about, navigating that relationship with the mother of my children,” he said. Chance said the song is his version of Homer’s  The Odyssey.  “I love to build a larger story. So it kind of reads as like an epic, like The Odyssey or anybody that’s like a seafaring or adventurous character in a book, Chance explained. “They go out on the search for some sort of success or thing that they value, and then they find that the thing that they value the mos,t they might have left at home.”  “It’s just coming to terms with the fact that sometimes it’s best if you love somebody the most, you let them go and you let them grow,” he added. In April 2024, Chance announced that he and Corley were separating. “After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,” Chance wrote on Instagram at the time. “God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together.
